A Memorial Meeting and Dua Mahfil to mark the 2nd Death Anniversary of USS Founder
উন্নয়ন সহায়ক সংস্থা (উসস)-এর প্রতিষ্ঠাতা, গণপ্রজাতন্ত্রী বাংলাদেশ সরকারের সাবেক অতিরিক্ত সচিব এবং বাংলাদেশ হাউস বিল্ডিং ফাইন্যান্স কর্পোরেশনের সাবেক চেয়ারম্যান মরহুম এ. এস. আব্দুল কাদির মাহমুদ সাহেবের ২য় মৃত্যুবার্ষিকী উপলক্ষে স্মরণসভা ও দোয়া মাহফিল অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। ১ অক্টোবর ২০২৬ খ্রিস্টাব্দে উসস-এর প্রধান কার্যালয়, মৌলভীবাজারে আয়োজিত এ স্মরণসভায় অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন উসস-এর আজীবন সদস্য ফয়জুল করিম ময়ূন, আজীবন সদস্য মওলানা আব্দুল হেকিম এবং নির্বাহী বোর্ডের সাধারণ সম্পাদক অধ্যাপক শাহ আব্দুল ওয়াদুদ। অনুষ্ঠানে সভাপতিত্ব করেন উসস-এর সাবেক চেয়ারপার্সন ও আজীবন সদস্য চৌধুরী জেসমিন মাহমুদ। অনুষ্ঠানটি সঞ্চালনা করেন উসস-এর প্রধান নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা মো. শওকত হোসেন সরদার। এ সময় উসস-এর কর্মকর্তা-কর্মচারী, সদস্যবৃন্দ এবং সংস্থার শুভাকাঙ্ক্ষী ও শুভানুধ্যায়ীরা উপস্থিত ছিলেন। স্মরণসভায় মরহুম এ. এস. আব্দুল কাদির মাহমুদ সাহেবের কর্মময় জীবন এবং সমাজ ও মানুষের কল্যাণে তাঁর অবদান গভীর শ্রদ্ধার সঙ্গে স্মরণ করা হয়। পরে তাঁর রুহের মাগফিরাত কামনা করে বিশেষ দোয়া করা হয়। আল্লাহ তাআলা মরহুমকে জান্নাতুল ফেরদৌস নসিব করুন। আমিন. A memorial meeting and Dua Mahfil were held to mark the 2nd death anniversary of the late A. S. Abdul Qadir Mahmud, Founder of Unnayan Sahayak Sangstha (USS), former Additional Secretary to the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, and former Chairman of Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation. The memorial programme was held on 1 October 2026 at the USS Head Office in Moulvibazar. Among the guests present were USS Life Member Fayzul Karim Moyun, Life Member Maulana Abdul Hakim, and Professor Shah Abdul Wadud, General Secretary of the Executive Board. The programme was chaired by Chowdhury Jesmin Mahmud, former Chairperson and Life Member of USS. It was conducted by Md. Sawkot Hossain Sarder, Chief Executive Officer of USS. USS officials and employees, members of the organization, well-wishers, and supporters were also present at the programme. During the memorial meeting, the distinguished life and contributions of the late A. S. Abdul Qadir Mahmud to society and human welfare were remembered with deep respect. A special prayer was later offered for the eternal peace and forgiveness of his departed soul. May Almighty Allah grant him Jannatul Ferdous. Ameen.
